VCS Temporary Virtual Learning Option to Conclude on October 12

The temporary virtual learning option for all K-12 students in Valdosta City Schools will conclude on Tuesday, October 12 at the end of the first grading period. All virtual learners, K - 12th grades, will be expected to return to their respective schools for traditional, face-to-face instruction on Wednesday, October 13.

Winnersville Week

Let's get ready for Winnersville Week beginning Monday, September 20th until Friday, September 24th. Students are encouraged to participate, and they will receive PBIS participation points.

VCS to Offer Temporary Virtual Option

Valdosta City Schools is committed to all students having access to quality education. While our return to school plan for the 2021-2022 school year is in-person instruction, the health and safety of our students, staff and families is always a top priority. Valdosta City Schools will offer parents the option of temporary virtual learning for students beginning Monday, August 30, 2021.

PBIS P.A.W.S. Days

Please read the information below for PBIS P.A.W.S. Days. This initiative starts Monday, August 16th, and will be weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All students, faculty, and staff are strongly encouraged to participate.

VBOE Adopts Updated Return to School Policy

During the July Work Session of the Valdosta Board of Education, the board adopted an updated Return to School policy for the 2021-2022 school year requiring everyone on school campuses and on buses to wear masks.
